Board of Directors
Sylvie Joseph-Julien is the Co-Founder and Executive Artistic Director of Atelier d’Ichère - Made-in-France, a non-profit organization to promote Francophone culture through experiential workshops for adults, teens and families.
After a nearly-two-decade Paris-based career in strategic human resources for upmarket French department store chain Galeries Lafayette and the Pinault-Printemps-Redoute corporate, Sylvie combined her entrepreneurial drive with her passions for arts and culture to launch Atelier d’Ichère first in France and later in the United States.
She is trained as an oral storyteller for world-renowned French landmarks the Louvre Museum, the Eiffel Tower, and the Garnier Opera House. Sylvie is an accomplished sculptor, painter, water-colorist, and photographer. A modern-day “Renaissance woman,” Sylvie builds educational and inspirational bridges between cultures, languages, and generations.
Sylvie received her Diploma in Business Finance and Employment Law from ESLSCA Business School in Paris, France and the Diploma of Specialized Higher Studies (DESS) in Human Resources and Business Strategy from the University of Paris-East Créteil.
